چکیده
In this paper, the physical layer security of a multi-user jamming-assisted broadcast network in presence multiple eavesdroppers is investigated. Specifically, base station (BS) broadcasting data to end-users via direct links passive wiretappers, while both legitimate users and use maximal-ratio combining scheme achieve high spatial diversity gain. Furthermore, BS jamming signal that cannot be canceled by increase their decoding failure rates. All are subject Nakagami- $m$ fading models. Relying on upper incomplete moment-generating function combined Signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) at each wiretapper’s MRC output, tight approximate asymptotic expressions for secrecy outage probability (SOP) derived considering two different scenarios, i.e., (i) absence (ii) broadcasted artificial noise. The impact level, severity parameter, number branches examined, most influential parameter system’s retrieved. Numerical results simulations reveal accuracy obtained analytical gain more useful insights into secrecy.

T his thesis studies physical layer security for multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless systems. Due to the broadcast nature of the physical medium, wireless multi-user communications are very susceptible to eavesdropping, and it is critical to protect the transmitted information. Security of wireless communications has traditionally been achieved at the network layer with cr...

The authors describe a methodology for evaluating the performability (combined performance and reliability) of large communications networks. Networks are represented by a 4-level hierarchical model, consisting of traffic matrix, network graph, “components” representing failure modes, and reliability information. Network states are assignments of modes to the network components, which usually r...
متن کاملPareto Distance for Multi-layer Network Analysis
Social Network Analysis has been historically applied to single networks, e.g., interaction networks between co-workers. However, the advent of on-line social network sites has emphasized the stratified structure of our social experience. Individuals usually spread their identities over multiple services, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare. As a result, the analysis of on-line soc...
متن کاملOptimal Network-Assisted Multi-user DASH Video Streaming
Streaming video is becoming the predominant type of traffic over the Internet with reports forecasting the video content to account for 80% of all traffic by 2019. With significant investment on Internet backbone, the main bottleneck remains at the edge servers (e.g., WiFi access points, small cells, etc.). In this work, we propose and prove the optimality of a multiuser resource allocation mec...
